Know the Code!
Code Standards, Specifications, Verification and Compliance

WJMG - ISO 9001:2000 Certified Metals Testing Specialists since 2006This edition of the WL addresses a common requirement of every code compliant connection, inspection and testing equipment verification.

This code requirement includes welding, bolting, measurements and pressure.

Businesses that sell connections or weldments have the obligation to comply with the contract and applicable codes and confirm that all equipment is working properly.

To achieve equipment compliance requires verification to an approved Quality Management System (QMS).  The QMS is a system to establish policy, objectives, plans, and resources to direct and control an organization with regard to quality.

In today’s business environment, equipment compliance is verified in accordance with a firm’s approved QMS following the principles of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9000 series or an accepted equivalent.   ISO is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies (ISO member bodies).  The work of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through ISO technical committees.

The details describing the QMS shall be documented and shall be available upon request.  The needfor registration and/or certification of the QMS shall be the responsibility of the project owner.

ISO 9001:2000 Certified Testing FacilityTo improve our business operations, WJMG secured ISO 9001:2000 certification. TheWJMG QMS is certified in the applications of inspection, testing, training and certification ofmeasurement devices.  Our ISO 9001 QMS certification ensures quality and consistency of all our results – every time!

WJMG performs verification and certification of measuring devices services to our clients.  Instead of shipping your instrument and waiting weeks for its return, why not bring it to someone locally that you know and trust?  Our in-house testing laboratory allows us to provide the time and attention your project requires.

Instrument Verification Services

It is important for the output of your welding power supply can be adjusted to the proper volts and amperes which are essential variables in your WPS, PQR and Welder certifications.   Routine verification of your welding machine’s performance also provides you a chance to clean filters, repair frayed leads, or replace damaged ground clamps and electrode holders.  Welding machine do break-down internally and thermally wear-out to the point of being unusable for code welding.   Call WJMG today for more details about instrument verification
